Rooms and suites
The 53 rooms and suites are spread across five houses in the gardens.
L’Oustau, the 16th-century farmhouse, holds the restaurant L’Oustau
de Baumanière, ten rooms, a large pool and the boutique. Le Manoir, an
18th-century country house about 900 metres from L’Oustau, has thirteen
rooms over a garden of white roses, among two-hundred-year-old trees.
Carita (fourteen rooms) and Flora (twelve) stand in the large
garden beside the Manoir, with the spa close by. The Family House, the
founder’s own, has six bedrooms for up to twelve, taken by the room or as
a whole, beside the spa and the Cabro d’Or’s pool.
The categories run from the Classic room, the entry category, through
Deluxe, Deluxe with terrace, Junior suite and Suite to the
Prestige Deluxe rooms at L’Oustau and the Manoir and the Prestige
Deluxe Suites, the largest on the estate. The hotel publishes no floor
areas, so we quote none. The category we propose on our Paris and Provence
journey is the Deluxe with terrace, which the hotel offers in each of the
five houses, subject to confirmation for your dates.
The house is the first choice and the room the second: a terrace at
L’Oustau puts dinner a few steps away; a room at Carita or Flora puts the
spa and a pool beside you. Tell us when you enquire, and we confirm the
house, the steps and the walking distances with the hotel before anything
is booked.
On the practical side: Avignon TGV station is 35 kilometres away and
Marseille Provence airport 60, by the hotel’s reckoning; we arrange the
transfers. Whether the hotel itself closes in winter is not stated on its
pages — the restaurants’ closures are — so we confirm the dates for your
year.
