Spain guides
Travel guides to Spain
Spain one subject at a time: its castles, parks, coast, food and wine.
By Ramin Jafari · Facts checked
Our travel guides take Spain one subject at a time: its castles and palaces, its national parks, its most beautiful coastal towns, its food region by region, and its wine regions. Each is a list of places, with what makes each worth the journey and what we arrange there, and each place links our page for it where we have one.

The guides
How to use them
Five guides, each to one subject across the whole country.
The castles and palaces, the national parks and the coastal towns go region by region, for a first journey or for the days between the cities on a second. For the twelve places we would put first, from the Alhambra to Teide, see the 12 treasures of Spain in The Explorer. The food and the wine go with any route: what each region eats, and the wine country worth a night or two.
Every guide carries the date its facts were last checked under its title, and every place in it is one we can build a trip around.
