Avelia Travel holds a financial guarantee with AXA Seguros Generales. For package bookings, this protects payments for travel services that cannot be provided if Avelia Travel becomes insolvent. Where passenger transport is included, it also provides protection for repatriation when required.

No. The financial guarantee protects you if the travel organizer becomes insolvent. Travel insurance covers personal risks such as illness, medical expenses, trip cancellation and lost baggage, depending on your policy. We therefore require travelers to arrange comprehensive travel insurance.

Contact us as early as possible. We will work with you to adjust your arrangements where possible, but the available options, refunds and costs depend on the timing, supplier policies and the booking terms you accepted. We will explain any implications before confirming a change.
