Ramin Jafari
Founder and lead travel designer of Avelia Travel, based in Málaga
Ramin founded Avelia to plan private, tailor-made journeys through Spain, Italy and France, and he is behind every trip it plans, from the first conversation until you are home. He has lived in Spain since 2022, in Málaga, and designs each journey from local knowledge and a lifetime of international travel, never from a package.
How he plans a trip
His aim is to bring the right hotels, the right tables and the right guides together into one journey, built around the people taking it, and to keep it running smoothly from the day it is booked until you are home.
He starts with where to go, and in what order, because that shapes everything else; then he chooses the hotels, and only then fills the days. He reads every enquiry himself, prepares each proposal, and stays your contact while you travel.
Where he plans
Spain, where he lives: the pages here go region by region, from Andalusia and the Canary and Balearic islands to the Basque Country and the wine country. And Italy and France, on their own or as part of a longer journey through Spain.
