Four days in Mallorca: an itinerary

A private transfer from Palma’s airport to Belmond La Residencia, then a treatment in its spa or a walk through its grounds.

Lunch in the village, fish and Mediterranean cooking with the island’s wines. Then Deià’s stone streets and the hotel’s own Sa Tafona gallery, and an artist’s studio where one welcomes visitors, on request.

Dinner at one of Palma’s Michelin-starred restaurants and a walk along the waterfront, or a quiet evening at the hotel.

With a private guide: La Seu, the Cathedral, and the Arab Baths, the domed room of an 11th-century bathhouse on twelve columns. Then coffee and a pastry in the old town.

A tasting at a family estate in the D.O. Binissalem, from the native Manto Negro and Moll grapes, and lunch at the vineyard, on request.

A guided walk or bike ride in the Serra de Tramuntana, the route set to your pace, and breakfast as a picnic of local produce.

A last swim and a light lunch at a beach club, or Valldemossa’s streets and its Charterhouse, where Chopin and George Sand spent the winter of 1838–39.
