It suits a party that wants the holiday's free days spent at the hotel, with the promenade, the lighthouse and the dunes within walking distance.

- It is a resort at scale, 561 rooms, with entertainment and evening shows. Om Thalasso is for adults only (over 18) and its circuit is charged, as are treatments, the à la carte tables and babysitting — your quotation says what is included. The quieter, more private side of the stay is the Unique by Lopesan tier of the Double Deluxe View rooms and the suites, a different booking, not something every room has.

Lopesan Villa del Conde is built as a Canarian village: its own square, with a church front and bell towers modelled on the town of Agüimes, opens onto stone streets, courtyards and gardens, and ten linked buildings lead down to the pools and the Meloneras promenade. It is a resort of 561 rooms and suites with six pools, a Mini Club and the Om Thalasso, a seawater centre for adults, and the Maspalomas lighthouse and dunes are a walk along the coast.
Rooms and suites
The register counts 561 rooms and suites. The rooms start with the Double Standard, 51 m² with its bathroom and a small balcony, over the pool, the gardens or the street, for up to three; the Double Standard View (56 m²) adds a view over the pools and gardens or towards the sea. The Double Deluxe View, 69 m² with a 15 m² terrace, is the first category in the Unique by Lopesan service.
The suites are all Unique: the Junior Suite, 105 m² with a living room, a bath and a separate rain shower and a 16 m² terrace; the Senior Suite, 129 m², and the Superior Suite, 130 m², each with a living room and a 24 m² terrace — the Superior’s with a jacuzzi on it; all three sleep up to four. The Royal Suite is 252 m² with a 125 m² terrace and a whirlpool bath, for up to six. There is an adapted Double Standard with a barrier-free bathroom, and a garden-view Economy room.
Unique brings a VIP breakfast, reserved loungers at the pools, a private lounge, a separate check-in and one Om Thalasso circuit per stay. Eating and drinking
OVO is the à la carte restaurant, for dinner, with a menu drawn from Canarian tradition and local produce; Alpendre serves lunch by the pool. Breakfast and dinner on the hotel’s board are at La Plaza, the buffet with live cooking stations. For drinks there is the Pub Zythum for craft beer and cocktails, Akoran for cocktails, open by season, and the Azotea pool bar for the sunset. We reserve the tables.
03Location
Where Villa del Conde is
Villa del Conde stands on Calle Mar Mediterráneo in Meloneras, on the south coast of Gran Canaria, by the seafront promenade. Walking east along the coast, the Faro de Maspalomas — the lighthouse — is about a quarter of an hour away by a pedestrian route, and the lagoon at the western edge of the Maspalomas dunes a few minutes beyond; these are approximate times. The map shows the hotel with the lighthouse, the dunes’ nature reserve and the Lopesan Meloneras golf course inland to the west.
