Our journey through France runs ten days, from the museums and three-star tables of Paris to the vineyards and olive groves of Provence, joined by the TGV. It is a starting point: the order, the pace and the hotels are shaped around you, and the French Riviera, Nice and the rest of France are planned the same way.

The journey
Paris and Provence in ten days
Four nights in the capital, then five in the Alpilles from one country hotel, with the train between.
In Paris, the Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay with your own guides and a day at Versailles, with the evenings free for the city’s tables. Then the direct TGV to Avignon and a driver to a country hotel beneath Les Baux-de-Provence: five nights from one base, with Les Baux and the Carrières des Lumières, two villages of the Luberon, Avignon and a Châteauneuf-du-Pape estate, and a day left free at the hotel. Aix-en-Provence is an extension, not a last-night move.

Every other trip, planned the same way
Paris on its own, a week on the Riviera, a slower one in Provence, the wine country, or France beside Spain or Italy: each trip is planned from the first conversation, with the hotels, the guides and the tables chosen for the people travelling. Every one is planned with you by Ramin Jafari.
