Its garden: trees and flowers inside the house, in the middle of the city. Add a pool on the sixth floor above the rooftops, and Épicure, Arnaud Faye's restaurant, under the same roof.
Who it suits
Couples who want a classic French house with a garden, and families: there is a children's play area on the sixth floor, and the hotel arranges babysitting.
What to consider
The pool is a small one, and the hotel's brasserie, 114 Faubourg, was listed as temporarily closed when we checked in October 2026.
02The hotel
The hotel and its rooms
Le Bristol Paris occupies the former town house of the Comte Jules de
Castellane on the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Hippolyte Jammet bought it to
make the most luxurious hotel in Paris and named it after Frederick Hervey,
the fourth Earl of Bristol, a great traveller; the Oetker family’s hotel
company owns it today. The hotel later spread onto the site of a former
convent, which gave it its garden, and into a neighbouring building on the
Avenue Matignon.
Rooms and suites
The rooms run from the Superior rooms, made up for one guest, through
the Deluxe rooms of 45 m² — some looking onto the garden, some with a
balcony — to the Prestige rooms of 50 m². The Junior Suites are
55 m², again with garden-view versions, and the Deluxe and Prestige
Junior Suites 75 m². The Deluxe Suites, 90 m², include suites over
the garden, and at the top the Suite Panoramique runs to 160–200 m² and
the Suite Penthouse to 200–350 m². From the Prestige rooms up, each
takes three guests.
If a particular outlook, bed configuration or step-free access matters to
you, tell us when you enquire and we will confirm it with the hotel for your
dates before anything is booked.
On the practical side: the hotel has valet parking and a private
underground car park; Orly is about 20 km away and Charles de Gaulle about
30 km, so we arrange a private transfer from either. Small dogs are
welcome, with a welcome kit of their own.

Facilities

Eating and drinking
Épicure is Arnaud Faye’s restaurant: contemporary French cooking,
light and refined, with vegetables at its heart. 114 Faubourg, the
hotel’s brasserie, was listed as temporarily closed by the hotel when we
checked in October 2026. Café Antonia,
frescoed and hung with crystal chandeliers, serves through the day and at
afternoon tea, and Le Bar du Bristol mixes its own cocktails. Beneath
the hotel, its own workshops make the chocolate, the pasta, the cheese and
the bread, from flour milled in the house. We reserve the tables.
