01Is it for you?

Is Plaza Athénée right for your stay?

Why choose it
The address and the house: Avenue Montaigne, the street of the couture houses, in a hotel with red geraniums at its windows, a Dior spa and La Grande Table's classic French cooking.
Who it suits
Couples and shoppers, and families: there are connecting rooms, many rooms and suites take an extra bed, subject to availability, and La Galerie serves a children's afternoon tea.
What to consider
The wellness here is the Dior Spa and a fitness studio with a sauna; the hotel lists no pool among its facilities. And it is a hotel of the avenue: the Louvre and the Left Bank are a drive away.

02The hotel

The hotel and its rooms

The Plaza Athénée stands on Avenue Montaigne beside the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, its neighbour since the two opened within weeks of each other. Atout France classifies it 5 étoiles and lists it among the hotels with the Palace distinction: one of 13 in Paris, and 33 in all of France, to hold it in 2026.

Rooms and suites

The rooms run from the Classic Single (25 m²), for one, and the Superior rooms (30 m²) to the Deluxe rooms of 38 m², in a classic Parisian or an Art Deco style. The Junior Suites run from 45 to 57 m², and the suites from 60 m² up to the 110 m² Presidential Suite.

The Eiffel Tower is the view of a handful of suites: the two Eiffel Suites (95 m²), one in Art Deco and one in 18th-century style; the Signature Eiffel and Haute Couture Eiffel suites (130 m²); L’Appartement, with a balcony over the rooftops; and the Deluxe Suite, Avenue Montaigne View with Balcony. The Terrace Duplex Suite spreads over two floors with a terrace of its own.

If an outlook, a bed configuration or connecting rooms matter to you, tell us when you enquire and we will confirm them with the hotel for your dates before anything is booked.

On the practical side: there is parking in front of the hotel and beneath it, and small dogs up to 7 kg are welcome. We arrange the transfer from Charles de Gaulle, Orly or the Gare du Nord. If you need a room adapted for reduced mobility, tell us and we will confirm one with the hotel for your dates.

05Planning

Planning a stay with Avelia

After discussing your plans, we prepare a tailored proposal with a quoted trip price and clear inclusions. Once you approve it and complete the agreed booking requirements, we confirm your arrangements, coordinate the details and support you while you travel.

How we choose hotels. For their size and character before their brand, and for how they suit the way you travel. No hotel is on our list simply because it sits on a preferred-partner programme. More in our story

Peace of mind

  • Clear before you commit. A written proposal with a quoted trip price and clear inclusions, before any payment.
  • Financially protected. When your stay is part of a package trip, your payments are covered against our insolvency by a guarantee with AXA. A hotel booked on its own is not a package.
  • One point of contact. From the first conversation to the last day, with support while you travel.

Experiences we can arrange

  • Private guided visits to the Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay, on request
  • Restaurant reservations across Paris, the hotel’s own included
  • A private visit to a haute couture atelier, on request and subject to availability
  • Private transfers from Charles de Gaulle, Orly or the Gare du Nord, and fast trains on to Provence or the Riviera
  • Days out to Versailles, Giverny or Champagne with a driver, subject to availability
The spa's reception, all in cream: a curved counter with a vase of roses, a bouclé sofa with blue toile cushions, glass shelves of skincare along an arched and softly lit corridor, and the spa's name in gold letters on the wall
