The sea. It is a tower on the beachfront, with rooms and suites looking over the Mediterranean, the city or both, and gardens below with two outdoor pools, a terrace restaurant and the beach beyond them.
Who it suits
Travellers who want a beach resort and a city hotel in one stay: families, with a family pool and the Arts Kids programme, and couples, with an adults-only pool.
What to consider
A renovation runs until June 2027, and the hotel warns of temporary and partial closures of some spaces until then. The pools open in the summer season only, and the Gothic Quarter is about 2 km away.

Rooms and suites
Most rooms are about 45 m²: the Landscape and Scenic rooms,
Panorama City View, and Panorama, with a lateral sea view. The
Seascape corner rooms on the seafront are 60 m². The corner suites, at
80 m², have a separate living room: the
Skyline suite looks over the city towards the Sagrada Família, the
Horizon suite over the sea. Club rooms and suites on the upper
floors add the Club Lounge, with its own concierge and food and drink
through the day, and the two largest suites — the Mediterranean Suite,
185 m², and The Arts Suite, 210 m², with two bedrooms, a dining room and
a kitchen — are on the Club level too.
If a particular outlook, bed configuration or connecting rooms matter to
you, tell us when you enquire and we will confirm them with the hotel for
your dates before anything is booked.
On the practical side: there is parking on site, self or valet, but no
electric-vehicle charging; room service runs around the clock; and El Prat
airport is about 20 km away, with no hotel shuttle, so we arrange a private
transfer. The hotel lists mobility-accessible rooms, some with roll-in
showers, in a few categories: tell us if you need one and we will confirm
it for your dates.

Eating and drinking
Enoteca Paco Pérez is chef Paco Pérez’s restaurant: imaginative
Mediterranean cooking from the sea and from farm and mountain produce, with
a list of more than 700 wines. Marina Coastal Food serves seafood in the
manner of local tapas, made for sharing, on a terrace between the pools with
the sea beyond, and Bites & Sips does coffee, light meals and drinks from
morning to night. Breakfast is a continental buffet, served each morning.
